After-School Good News Clubs® are Bible classes that children (kindergarten through 5th grade) may attend once a week after school hours. These classes are an excellent opportunity for children in elementary public schools to hear the Gospel, learn the truth from God's Word and grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Each week the teachers present an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from Child Evangelism Fellowship Press®. This action-packed time with the children also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme.
After-School Good News Clubs® would be an asset to your school and not add any cost or liability to the school district. Children who wish to participate would stay after school one hour per week. Parents would need to arrange for transportation home. Adults working with the program are screened according to Child Evangelism Fellowship's® child-protection policy and trained as teachers or helpers.
